6. Apple Cider Vinegar Fruit Fly Trap
This is a fruit fly trap you can make with most of ease. All you need is a container with a funnel shaped top. This container will get the flies in and trap it there. Then, fill the bottom of the container with apple cider vinegar. That’s it. You’ll be free from the annoying buzzing sound of the fruit flies.
According to a study, apple cider vinegar attracts fruit flies because of its resemblance to the smell of rotting fruit. However, if the apple cider vinegar is highly concentrated, it won’t attract any flies. If your mixture is not attracting fruit flies, try to dilute the mixture a little.
